Hypnotherapy is utterly awesome and I say this as a man who once thought it the preserve of weirdos and hippies. I eventually found myself seeing a hypnotherapist for smoking cessation and was so utterly impressed that I decided to train as one myself. Four years on I was fully qualified, UKCP registered and I now help others in my turn.

Hypnotherapy is only my latest and best incarnation as a helper. I spent years as a care assistant after university. I spent even longer (too long) as a teacher and now, here I am, helping people to change their lives just as I changed mine.

Hypnotherapy could help you with any problem which contains an emotional component. I help people to overcome problems such as anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, depression, OCD, scrupulosity, phobias, public speaking, sports performance, erectile dysfunction, IBS, PTSD, addictions of every kind, asperger's, school refusal and a whole lot more.

I spent almost twenty years as a teacher, during which time I demonstrated and acquired a good rapport with children and young people. Today about a third of my case-load is made up of young people aged 10 and above. Children have great imaginations and so are wonderfully open to hypnotherapy.

My eldest daughter has asperger's syndrome and a large proportion of my clients come from this community. I help such clients to overcome a great range of difficulties, primarily involving anxiety and social difficulties. Asperger's, of course, can't be cured but the anxieties which come along with asperger's can be resolved or diminished to a very large extent.
